Lead climbing is the more advanced step once a climber has become comfortable with the top rope belay process. During a lead class, participants learn all the elements of lead climbing such as proper rope management, clipping into the quick draws, how to lead belay, how to properly fall, and how to catch a falling climber. Classes last approximately 3 hours and can be scheduled with the front desk.

Our Basic Belay Class will help you “learn the ropes” – literally! Participants are instructed on how to properly tie in to their harnesses as a climber, set up as the belayer (securing and safeguarding the climber), and how to utilize all the necessary equipment. Classes are a 2-hours and can be scheduled with the front desk or online.

This is an open group class where we work through general strength and conditioning. No need to sign up - just show up and let's get to work!
